Pak Suzuki Donates Two Suzuki Engines to NED University’s Department of Automotive Engineering.
NED University of Engineering & Technology held an agreement signing ceremony with Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Senate Hall, VC Secretariat. The event marked the donation of two Suzuki engines to the Department of Automotive Engineering, followed by an engine handing-over and an inaugural ceremony at the department.
The ceremony was graced by Mr. Hiroshi Kawamura, Managing Director of Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited, along with a delegation from the company.
Representing NED University were Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tufail (Vice Chancellor), Prof. Dr. Noman Ahmed (Pro-Vice Chancellor), Prof. Dr. Asad ur Rehman (Dean, CPL), Prof. Dr. Amir Iqbal (Dean, MME), Prof. Dr. Ali Raza Jafri (Chairperson, Automotive Engineering), Syed Ghazanfar Hussain (Registrar), and Dr. Ali Hasan Mahmood (Controller, Student Affairs).
Following the ceremony, the Pak Suzuki delegation visited the National Incubation Center (NIC) at NED University, where they engaged in discussions with the NIC team on innovation, collaboration, and potential areas for industry-academia partnership.
The initiative reflects Pak Suzuki’s continued commitment to supporting engineering education and skill development in Pakistan, strengthening the bridge between academia and industry.
